Addressing COVID 19 Concerns with Caution

While our lobby may be closed we are still here working to provide you the best possible service at the lowest possible cost. If you are in need to talk to someone about making payment arrangements please call our business office Mon – Fri between the hours of 8 am and 5 pm. If you need further assistance DHHS has asked us to remind our customers that due to the impact of COVID-19, they are anticipating a possible increase in the number of households experiencing a crisis situation. They are utilizing specific guide lines to determine additional assistance for eligible households. In the effort to be proactive and to protect our staff and to keep the utilities up and running we are switching our lobby and warehouse to staff only permitted. Customer payments can be left in our drop box, made on line or by automated phone system. Payments may also be made at American National Bank, Premier Bank and Arbor Bank drive thru windows.

We strongly encourage you to use Nebraska City Utilities digital tools and other resources for all your utility needs at www.nebraskacityutilities.com. From there, you can make payments, contact service, report street lighting issues, report outages, sign up for electronic funds transfer, request new service and more.

We also understand that there may be instances where customers find themselves facing financial difficulties. We are here to help and we encourage customers who may be impacted to reach out to discuss how we might be of assistance with making payment arrangements.
